Just diving right into the deep end here folks. This whole business of writing compelling literature review for my dissertation is giving me run for my money:/. Mean, there are so many facets to consider identifying relevant papers, ensuring they fit snugly within my research parameters and synthesizing the information without sounding like an echo chamber! And let's not even get started on the time drain it is! Have been hearing quite bit about tools that could potentially help with this process.

Anyone have any experience using these? Came across one such service called "Ref-N-Write" which apparently uses to help in paraphrasing from existing literature but the annual plan would set me back by around $45, which is quite steep for perpetually broke student like myself. Are there any better-priced alternatives? Also, in somewhat unrelated note, I've been toying with the idea of using writing service for my dissertation on ancient history. Part of me feels guilty about it, as if I'm betraying some unwritten academic code or something. But honestly, I'm just spinning my wheels here and could really use helping hand. If any of you have used such services before, how was your experience? Is there service that specifically focuses on historical research? What kind of price range are we looking at here? Any insight would be godsend!
